Jennifer Papahronis has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since 1998 representing clients in a wide range of matrimonial, parentage and family law matters. Almost all of her clients are referrals from past clients and other attorneys.
Jennifer approaches every case in a practical, straightforward manner in order to achieve the most favorable, efficient and cost-effective results for her clients. She recognizes that every client has unique circumstances and handles each case differently, but always with the client's goals in mind. She settles cases in a traditional or collaborative fashion when appropriate and, when not, she is prepared to take the case to trial.
A team approach is important to Jennifer and she works in close collaboration with her clients encouraging them to be focused on the future. Her goal is to put each client on a path to financial and emotional security. To this end, she provides her clients with the tools necessary to help them construct a solid foundation on which to navigate the next chapters of their lives.
For her undergraduate studies, Jennifer majored in Social Psychology and received her B.A. from Tufts University in 1994. She graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 1998 and began her legal career working for a boutique law firm in Chicago specializing in family law. In 2009, drawn to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, she moved to Seattle. Jennifer initially practiced family law at K&L Gates, LLC and in 2012 opened her own firm.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in both Washington and Illinois and is trained in collaborative law. She is a volunteer mediator with the King County Volunteer Settlement Conference program and former Content Editor for the Domestic Relations Chapter of the Washington Lawyers Practice Manual. Jennifer is fluent in German.
